PROCESSING CHAMBER:

  • Batch size ranges from 200 pounds up to 350 pounds (finished dough).
  • Mixing chamber is 30 inches in diameter & 24 inches deep.
  • Mixing chamber thermometer monitors dough temperature.
  • Mixing chamber is vacuum rated and constructed of 304 stainless steel.
  • One, liquid ingredient opening mounted near top of mixing chamber
  • Hydraulically operated, stainless steel, curved slide/gate (16 inches long x 18 inches wide) located in the top of mixer for loading major dry ingredients.
  • Open style loading hopper (approx. 68 inches from floor) with pivoting safety grid in bottom of hopper.
  • Hydraulically operated, stainless steel curved slide/gate (15 inches long x 9 inches wide) located in bottom of mixer for discharging dough chunks. Slide clearance to floor is 24 inches.
  • Bi-directional scraper arm for scraping inside of processing chamber and discharging dough in chunks through bottom slide/gate.
  • Mixing chamber is equipped with an overpressure relief valve.
  • Three dull or sharp edge processing tools mounted on direct drive, stainless steel motor shaft.

MOTORS/DRIVES:

  • TEFC main motor for turning processing tools is 200-1200rpm/50hp/460volt/60hz.
  • Scraper gear motor is a helical bevel type, 24rpm/5hp/460volt/60hz.
  • Main motor and scraper motor shafts use standard lip seals.
  • Programmable automatic greasing unit for motor seals.
  • Central hydraulic unit motor is 1hp/460volt/60hz.

FRAME/CHASSIS:

  • Rubber vibration reducing pads isolate the mixing chamber & motor from the frame.
  • Mixer frame and legs are constructed of 304 stainless steel, 4 inch square tubing.
  • Floor clearance to bottom of slide/gate is 21 inches.
  • Critical components, such as main motor, hydraulic power unit, greasing system, and electrical J-boxes are located behind processing chamber and are protected by stainless steel covers with removable access panels.

DIMENSIONS:

  • Overall length is 80 inches, overall width is 47 inches, top of loading hopper to floor is 62 inches based on bottom slide/gate clearance of 21 inches (variable per installation requirement)

ELECTRICAL/CONTROLS:

  • NEMA 4X stainless steel, washdown rated mixer control cabinets housing the Allen Bradley SLCK 504 PLC, I/O racks, VFD control for main motor and other motor starters.
     
  • Graphics based Panelview Plus 1000, color touch screen, operator interface monitors for operating the mixer, setting mix times, and adjusting ingredient set points, located near the mixer in a small stainless steel enclosure or in the main control panel.
  • Safety interlocks on main motor, scraper motor, slide/gates and front door.
  • Built in mixer troubleshooting and diagnostics package.
  • Control programming will be supplied for automatic and manual operation of mixer as well as all auxiliary equipment.

UTILITIES REQUIRED:

  • Electrical: 100amps/460v/60hz
  • Water: 40psi @2gpm(vacuum pump)
  • Air: 40psi @10cfm

DOCUMENTATION PROVIDED:

  • Two (2) complete sets of installation drawings, electrical drawings for elementary wiring, electrical cabinet layout, and ladder logic printout will be provided.
  • Two (2) complete operator, spare parts and maintenance manuals for the ABM 350.

DOMESTIC INSTALLATION/STARTUP ASSISTANCE:

  • Supplied at a charge of $90 per man/per hour (straight time), plus travel and living expenses.  Travel time billed at the rate of $35 per man/hour.

WARRANTY:

  • 12 months on defective parts and workmanship
