How It Works

A Closer Look At How The ABM High Speed Mixer Works

  1. 1

Ingredients such as flour, water, oil, and other minor ingredients are added to the mixer automatically through the top slide gate or liquid inlets.

  2. 2

After all the ingredients have been added, the mixer starts the mixing process. The mixing tools spin at variable speeds (100-1200 RPM). The mixing time usually ranges from 60 to 180 seconds.

  3. 3

After the dough has been mixed, the bottom slide gate opens and the dough is discharged and portioned into manageable dough chunks. The dough is typically deposited onto a conveyor system, thus eliminating dough troughs/carts.

  4. 4

The complete batch cycle is usually 4 to 6 minutes.

*Optional dough handling systems are also available for delivering finished products from the mixer to makeup/sheeting equipment
